[BLOK] - Local Base for Cultural Refreshment
[BLOK] is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization established in 2001. In its field of activities [BLOK] firstly includes work on projects that present and conceptualize contemporary art practice as immanent social activity.
Urban Festival, a long-term international project with the basic tendency to infiltrate art into urban life and intensify communication between inhabitants and their city and its infrastructure, is the basic project of the organization. Besides [BLOK] actively collaborates with Croatian and international organizations of similar or complementary profile.
